Description
Crosscut boards from 1″ x 13″ up to 4″ x 9″ with the PC100 upcut saw! Available in left or right-side blade options, the PC100 features convenient center material loading for longer material with a uniquely designed segmented blade guard. When the two-hand no-tie down cutting cycle is activated, the upper blade guard automatically lowers and covers the front and sides of the blade during the cutting cycle. Comparable machines with a mounted blade guard only allow material loading from the left or right side which makes processing longer material more difficult and time consuming. Additional features include up to 20 cut cycles per minute, 1-phase or 3-phase electric power, optional infeed/outfeed tables, optional gang stop, and more. Combine these features with the industry-leading reliability and durability of Built in the USA Wood-Mizer equipment for an upcut saw you and your business can depend on.
Crosscut Boards from 1″ x 13″ up to 4″ x 9″
With maximum cutting capacities of 1” x 13”, 2” x 12”, 3” x 10”, and 4” x 9”, the PC100 can crosscut a wide range of wood material for sawmillers, woodworkers, and pallet manufacturers. Cutting length varies based on the optional infeed and outfeed tables (sold separately).
Upcut Saw Blade up to 20 Cut Cycles Per Minute
With the upcut saw blade housed safely inside the machine until activated, the PC100 makes up to 20 cut cycles per minute with the 18” diameter x 1” bore nail resistant carbide-tipped circular saw blade.
Left or Right-Side Blade Placement
Choose between left or right-side blade placement for optimum material flow and efficiency in your production line.
Convenient Center Material Loading with Unique Blade Guard
The unique segmented blade guard covers the front and sides of the blade during the cutting cycle and allows long material to be loaded from the center of the saw. Comparable upcut saws with a mounted center guard only allow material loading from the left or right side and placed under and through the guard which makes processing longer material more difficult and time consuming.
Powerful 10HP (7.5kW) Electric Motor
The PC100 upcut saw is powered by an efficient 10HP (7.5kW) electric motor available in 240V and 480V 3-phase or 220V 1-phase connections.
User-Friendly Control Panel
The centralized control panel includes on/off for the controls, on/off for the blade, a two-hand non-tie-down activated cutting cycle, and an emergency stop for safety. A self-contained electrical panel protects important wiring from the production environment.
Quick-Change Height Adjust Handle
Quickly adjust the clamp height with the manual crank handle.
Adjustable Board Stops
Full height board stops can be adjusted as close as 1” apart along the outfeed fence. Each outfeed table section includes an outfeed fence and scale for accurate cuts.
Dust Collection Port
Convenient 4” diameter dust collection port compatible with Wood-Mizer dust collection systems. Minimum 600 cfm required for dust collection.
Pneumatic Air Supply and Hose
Pneumatic air supply operates the material clamp and upper segmented blade guard plus an air hose is available for easy cleanup.
